AGM of the Lancashire Neighbourhood Watch Forum
The AGM of the Lancashire Neighbourhood Watch Forum took place at Police Headquarters Hutton on the 25th April 2010.
The AGM took the form of a conference with the theme of scam Mail running through it. It was attended by 99 people made up mainly of coordinators from across Lancashire.

The event was opened by a brief safety talk by Inspector Eddie Newton and then Keith Warren MBE and Roger Baines MBE Chairman welcomed all to the Conference. Roger then conducted the buisness part of the meeting with the old committe Standing down and then being re-elected.
The conference proper then started with a talk by Lancashire County Councillor Peter Mullineaux, he joined us in his role as Champion for Older People. Lancashire County Council is responsible for providing advice and guidance to the Council leadership and fellow Councillors across all Parties on issues relating to age and ageing throughout Lancashire.
Councillor Mullineaux in particular wants to protect and support vulnerable older people and we are pleased he agreed to speak at the Conference with regard to the Mass Marketing Fraud Project which we at Lancashire Neighbourhood Watch hope will reduce the number of older people who live in fear of this type of Crime.
Inspector Eddie then gave very interesting insight into the new Service Level Agreement which was signed on the 28th April by ACC Andy Rhodes and Roger Baines MBE.
Keith Warren MBE then introduced the Think Jessica DVD and the Trading Standards then acted out 6 sketchs highlighting the problems of Bogus callers

Roger then thanked all for coming and a hotpot was then served.
