All registered co-ordinators who have been approved by their local Police authority, as an Authorised Neighbourhood Watch Association/Scheme on the 31st December 2007 are covered by the “Public Liability Insurance Policies” currently in place and held by the Lancashire Constabulary in the name of the “Lancashire Neighbourhood Watch Forum” for the said risks printed below.  Provided that during the past three years you have not made any claims, or incurred any liability for any of the said risks. Schemes set up and registered with the police authority after the 31st December 2007 will not be covered till the following year.

           Sign erection, and maintenance, including signs whilst erected,

provided that the lower edge of any sign is not less than 2.1 metres

above the footway.

 

Excluding:

 

           Car window etching

           Fund Raising Activities (other than those specified above)

           House, or Pet Watch

           Installation, siteing, or maintenance of any Security locks, devices,

or equipment

Intruder, or fire alarms

Fire Safety Equipment

Costs:  What is covered.

           All amounts which you become legally liable to pay as damages,

costs, and expenses for:

 

Bodily injuries to any person

           Damage to material property

           Obstruction, trespass, nuisance, or interference with any right of

way, air, light, water, or other easement.

           The cover extends to the costs of representation at any coroner’s

inquest, fatal accident, enquiry, or Court of Summary Jurisdiction

incurred with our consent.

 

What is Not Covered:   The first £100 of each claim for damage to property.
