Vehicle crime warning

Preston Police have recently received reports of high value vehicles being stolen from the driveways of dwellings by offenders who have obtained the keys from inside the properties.  

Where possible vehicles should be locked away in a garage overnight and keys should not be left easily accessible and visible to offenders from outside the property.  

All keys should be kept in a safe place inside the house where they are not visible through windows and glazed doors, but should also be in a place where they can be easily accessed should you need to get out of the house in an emergency.
